I, Tanya Armstrong at D&B Real Estate, am committed to making my site www.wealthwithinwalls.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We are working to align this site with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and to achieve Level AA accessibility over time. This site’s content is being adapted to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

As part of this effort, we have:

  • Used the accessibility tools provided by our website platform to find and address potential accessibility issues

  • Set the primary language of the site

  • Reviewed and adjusted the reading/content order of pages where needed

  • Defined clear heading structures on pages where possible

  • Added alternative text to images where appropriate

  • Implemented color combinations that aim to meet required contrast ratios

  • Reduced the use of unnecessary motion where possible

  • Strive to ensure that videos, audio, and downloadable files on the site are accessible or can be made accessible upon request

We continue to review and improve the accessibility of this site on an ongoing basis.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content 

Some parts of this site rely on content and technologies provided by third parties that are not fully under our control. This includes, for example:

  • Property search tools and listing displays provided through an IDX/MLS vendor

  • External social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, which are accessed through links in the site footer

The following areas/pages may be affected by this:

  • Property Search and Property Organizer pages (IDX-powered pages)

  • All pages containing external social media links in the footer

Because of this, we declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for these specific areas.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization 

My real estate services are offered at the following office location:

D&B Real Estate

At this location:

  • There is a ramp to the front door and no stairs at the main entrance

  • Restrooms in the building include larger stalls that may be more accessible for some visitors

  • Some doors in the building may be heavier and could be more difficult for some individuals using wheelchairs or mobility devices to open independently

If you require a specific accessibility accommodation for an in-person meeting (for example, assistance with doors, an alternative meeting location, additional time, or a different communication format), please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
